Spanish University Entrance

UNED (the Spanish equvalent of Britain's Open University) have validated the A Level results of the 11  students who decided to apply for places at Spanish universities and have given our students a 100% pass rate.

IGCSEs

The school achieved the highest exam grades in IGCSEs yet, with our Year 11 gaining an 92% overall pass rate (A* - C); including 100% in Maths, English Sec. Lang, French, Art and Design, Physics, History, Music and Spanish.

National Curriculum Tests

Once again King's College Alicante exceeded the UK average marks at Key Stage 2 (age 10-11) which is particularly pleasing because the overwhelming majority of our children speak English as a foreign language.

The papers are sent to England for marking. The target level for children at the end of Year 6 is Level 4, and for those at the end of Year 9 is Level 5 or 6. Students normally take IGCSE at the end of Year 11, although some subjects may be taken at the end of Year 10.
